If you like tye-dye blue carpet and candy colored 50?s style metal kitchen cabinets and applicances, if you like creepy hotel hallways and mismatched lightswitches and lighting fixtures, if you enjoy landlords leaving countless messages on your machine to "check up on things", and if you don?t need a parking space on Friday nights then these apartments are for you. Intrigued but not decided' Well, let me tell you more... there are layers of bulging putty, not all painted over, the paint itself could be white and might not be... it depends on whether the unwashed nicotine stains were painted over. The tiling (brown in the closets, gray in the rooms)is seperating from the walls, the edges of the carpet are covered in paint, the person above you will back up their garbage disposal and flood your apartment in the middle of the night (but they will reimburse you a roll of paper towels), your shower will never stop dripping. Oh, and the electric company you have to use won?t refund your security deposit unless it?s been 12 months, but after the 6 month lease is up you?ll be so glad to be able to move you won?t mid losing the $80. Now that you?re convinced this is the place for you to call home, you?ll need to contact the manager... but set aside a few hours and as must patience as you can muster, trust me, you?ll need it.
