OK if you don't mind the music and banging from other apartments radiating into yours. I've never lived any place so noisy, although the noise isn't constant. The door always slams, kids play in the hallways, neighbors have domestic disputes and the banging sounds like it's coming through the walls. People smoke in the hallways and just outside the building door, so you have to walk through it all the time. It is an old building, so the windows sills have cracks, and the windows don't shut or open well. The wind whistles through them terribly. On a positive note, things do quiet down at night, and the police are mostly at the Avalon apartments next door. I've never had a problem with my car in the parking lot, and I've never had a reason to feel unsafe. We live in a two-bedroom, one bath (both rooms are a good size), and the rent is great(and includes a dishwasher in the kitchen), so it is great for college students on a limited budget.
