The state of colorado is a smoke free state.Mineral palace Tower
state right on there front door no smoke premited. This building
is only for the elderaly which many-many of the resident are on
full time oxegen. There is a gazabo at the front of this building
by the main enterance,people are alwyas sitting there smoking.
Then you go in the building and it stinks of cigarette smoke.
I have a ex mother en-law that lives there an the smell goes
thru the walls.She enven put a towel down under her dooor, trying
to keep the smell out.Second hand cigarette smoke is terrible for
the heath of others. But what I don't understand is how the resident
are able to smoke in ther apartments even.It state it is a smoke free
building..signs on front door and elevator..no smoking prohibited.
My concern is for the elderly people health and welfare. Smoking
in a place where 90% on the residents are on oxygen.Whats the answer'
Maybe make one side of the building a non smoking apartments.Or best yet
no smoking in any apartments..Soke outside only and at the back of the building.
I hate walking thru the smoke in order to go inside he building.I wolud like
a respons.Thank you

I think you should NOT force YOUR decision to not smoke on others. I bet you eat fatty foods which is not good for you so should I demand that you refrain and eat only the healthy foods I think you should eat. Live and let live!!!!!!!

The problem with casino's response is that it is selfish! Live and let live??? Cigarette smoke causes disease and death - you moron! Oh, I get it - as long as YOU get to live the way YOU want - right??? BH, there are legal options. Try the states' non-smoking policy online and go from there. Surely, there are people who care that ill, elderly people are afforded their RIGHTS!!! The right to breath is necessary to life. There are NO CONSITUTIONAL RIGHTS TO SMOKE!!! Look it up - it's true! End of the line for stupid smokers!

The Mineral Palace Tower apartments in Pueblo, Colorado are very nice and sutiable homes for elderly. The policy for that building on smoking is: No smoking in common areas such as lobby, hallways, elevators, etc. Smoking at the gazebo is 20 feet from the front door. Residents are allowed to smoke in their apartments. They are asked if they smoke alot that they be courteous and open their window or porch door for ventilation. There are also residents who are on oxygen and choose to smoke. This may not be a good idea but it is their choice and not against the law. By the way, what does BH mean. Fatty foods cause death and disease too!
