I have lived here for a year and a half and have been very happy. I live in a one bedroom with another person; space is tight but that's to be expected. Our building is quiet...each apartment in our building is a one bedroom (1 or 2 people living in each) which helps with the noise. Energy bills here are around $30 all year-round, a great bonus! There is no ac; our windows do not get the afternoon sun so our place stays pretty cool in the summers. I have heard though, ones facing the south get very warm in the summer. The carpet in our place is disgusting! It's old...just get some area rugs. I would definately recommend living here if you are on a budget...cheapest place in Steamboat!
