I don't even know where to begin with this place. My wife started a new job in Denver so we needed to find a nice place and fairly quickly. We looked around and found some nice places, but the appearance of this place drew our attention so we thought we'd check it out. We talked to Terri in the office, and she showed us around, and showed us ONLY the model apartment, which was beautiful. However, we were not allowed to see our exact apartment until we moved in (after we paid). After we moved in, the apartment looked nice, however, we soon realized, that everything was EXTREMELY cheaply made. Things begin to break down right away. Our dishwasher broke after 3 uses. After contacting the office, it took them 4 months do to something about it, however, i must say the maintenance crew did an excellent job fixing the dishwasher. After our extremely bad snow storm, our parking lot was buried in snow,as was was our stairs. After talking to the office staff, mainly w/ a girl named Melissa, who is apparently the manager. She is EXTREMELY rude, and told us that snow removal was our problem and that we cant do anything about it, yet she wouldn't even let us borrow a shovel. At one point during all this, some genius trying to get his car unstuck, dropped his transmission (thats what happens when you drive like a moron) well, when he did this, he was parked BEHIND my wifes car, not in a parking space, but in the middle of the parking lot. We let it go for a day, because we both got to stay home from work, and decided to stay inside. Well, 2 days AFTER the incident, this car was still there. Well like most people my wife has to go to work at some point, so we contacted the office, to find out what can be done and they said they were aware of the problem, and told the kid he could park his car there and it will be taken care of. Well, it wasnt taken care of until 10pm that night. They finally pulled the car out w/ a backhoe, meanwhile, waking everyone in our complex up with with beeping etc. Well, since I have to be up at 5am to be at work, i was not too happy. We contacted the office the next day along w/ some of our neighbors to complain that we saw a 75 yr old man clearing out snow on the stairs, which is clearly what the grounds crew is for. Mellisa, the manager, began SCREAMING at my wife over the phone. She was yelling so loud I could hear her screaming from my living room, and my wife was in the bedroom. I took over the phone call and was told that the grounds crew had gone home for the day, it was 230pm because they were tired. When i got home from work that afternoon, I saw them spinning donuts in the golf cart on the ice. Must be a rough job. The grounds crew is pathetic. Thats only the start of our problems. They do not have any non smoking buildings. They have non smoking apartments, but they are surrounded by smoking allowed apartments, so what happens' People smoke in the hallway, filling the hallway with smoke, or you if you live on the 3rd floor, like we do, you cant open your window, because everyones smoke blows through your windows. Makes it tough to enjoy the fresh air! Dont expect an enjoyable experience in the hot tub, because the apartment allows people to smoke in that as well, and people are rude and cant wait 15 mins till they get out of the Hot Tub, to smoke. So, it fills w/ ashes. My wife and i have only lived here since Aug. It is now march. We would have broken our lease long ago, if the cost to do so wasnt so outrageous. We WILL NOT be signing another lease w/ this place. I would not recommend anyone move here. Save yourself the headache, and find somewhere else to live, as my wife and I will be out of here as soon as our lease is up. I CANNOT WAIT!!!!!

Me and my roomate have had NO problems living here. The staff is very friendly, we also live on the third floor and have never been bothered by cigerette smoke nor have we ever seen anybody smoking in the hot tub (were down there practically every night). We also had Terri give us a tour of the apartment and we say the exact unit that we would be living in before we moved in. We also had a problem that required a maintenance guy and it was taken care of the same day. I have to say, we very much DISAGREE with this review. We love the place and the staff.

How are they suppose to monitor the hot tub after hours? Perhaps they should hire someone to sit at the hot tub and tell people they cannot smoke even though they are outside. I didn't know that smoking outside wasn't allowed in Colorado anymore! Is that a new law? Perhaps I haven't heard about it.... ALSO, if your apartment is ready prior to your move-in they will let you see it. I know I waited to sign my lease until I saw my aparmtment which happened to be on my move in day. I totally wanted to see it before I signed anything. I asked beforehand if I could do this and they said it was more than fine. Maybe you guys should have done the same.....

To comment on these posts. I agree about smoking in the hot tub. Its gross, and people smoke in it DURING hours, they have a night crew that is supposed to monitor the grounds but they don't exactly earn their keep. This place has the LAZIEST staff i've ever seen not counting the maintenance guys, which do a great job. I gotta agree about the post about Melissa. She is dumber then a bag of rocks!! How can someone that dumb, and that lazy get a job like that? She would be better off being a house keeper!!

I do not agree with the first post. I think this is a great apartment complex. I have two children and my wife living here and we are very satisfied. The snow removal was terrible, but there are only three maintanence members and it will take them some time to remove it all. I have never seen anyone smoking in the hot tubs at all and we go down there fairly often. When we go in the hot tub it always seems very clean along with the majority of the complex. I do see dog ---- on the lawn sometimes, but that isn't because of the crew members. It is the rude ass families not that there a lot of them. Unfortunately, I have to move out of state because of my job and I will probably have to break a lease. I am wondering if anyone has info on the lease agreements and breaking one. I am not certain if I can pay some money to get out of it or how stern the contract is. If you have any info then please submit it to me. Thank you.

I just renewed my lease. I love my apartment. I have a wonderful view. I can rarely hear the neighbors through the walls. I have never encountered anyone smoking on the stairs at all. Yes, the snow removal took forever. But, I do believe that most of the metro area had that problem following 3 blizzards in a row. I have only needed to call maintenance once, and that was to relight my pilot light in my fireplace. Otherwise, everything has worked well the entire year I have been here. I did ask about breaking the lease, just in case I win the lotto or something. Its $1500 to break it.

in fact one night we heard the people who are ALWAYS noisy upstairs giving their bed a good running in as it was squeaking and yes we heard other noises too. what did we do? just burst out laughing !!
