Just because it's brand new, doesn't mean it's not the slums!

We lived in Indigo Creek shortly after it was first constructed. Even though it was a brand new community and was very pleasing to the eye, there was a new suprise every morning when I went out to my car. There was vomit (HUGE piles!) in the parking lot EVERY Monday, trash, debris, and biohazardous waste at any given time. The grounds were never kept up on.
There were SO many parties that would continue on until 4:30 in the morning (and I'm not being a party-pooper) - these tenents would scream, slam doors, blar music, etc. until all hours of the night. Not only would management not respond to these issues, but the police wouldn't either! (Good luck if you have some sort of issue that needs to be taken care of by the Thornton Police! - don't think they like this property!).
Anyways, we decided to cut it short. We broke our lease just 6 short months after moving in. Come to find out, we were charged for a garage remote which we were never given. Our lease even stated that we did not receive one and John, the manager, said that we should have notified them when we first moved in (I though that was protocal! A remote for a garage!). Who would have thought'
So, needless to say, living at Indigo Creek was a lot like living in the slums. If you're looking for an apartment in Thornton, I would recommend putting this property at the bottom of your list and only renting if they're offering free apartments! What you will pay for rent is SO not worth the headaches you will have to endure for the remainder of your lease! Good luck!

I have to agree, although pleasing to the eye, this place is an absolute dump. It is evident that this place was constructed using the cheapest materials possible. With the re gentrification of Denver being done, all the low class people that are out priced in Denver have moved north to Thornton, and they all seem to have flocked to Indigo Creek. When my wife and I moved in, it was nice. Not anymore. If you are someone with any dignity or class, i would recommend you steer clear of this place.
