I have lived at Indigo Creek for seven months. This place is terrible! The office staff is often rude and unwilling to help solve a problem. The fireplace in my apartment did not work the day I moved in. I was told by office staff that the complex is only allowed to order two replacement parts for the fireplaces each month because so many of the fireplaces are broken. Every month, for six months, I asked the office staff about fixing my fireplace. One of the leasing women mocked my request for a fixed fireplace and stated "I don't know why anyone would want a fireplace, it is hot outside." No matter the temperature, I signed a lease agreement which states I will have an apartment with a working fireplace. If I pay for an amenity, I expect to have the abillity to use it. After broken promises to follow up on the issue, I finally went over their heads and spoke with the complex manager about the problem. Thankfully, the fireplace was fixed the next day. However, it is no excuse for blowing off a tenant for six months. The neighbors who live above and next to me are so loud that I am forced to use ear plugs to sleep at night. As I have lived in other apartment complexes, I understand that this is common with apartment living. However, it is at the complete extreme at Indigo Creek. Many of the tenants are friendly, however some are completely oblivious to others. The ground are not well-kept as there is trash everywhere (sidewalks, hallways, parking lot). My experience at Indigo Creek is unfortunate and I hope to help prevent others from making the same mistake.
