The first year we lived here, things were more or less fine. I have noticed, however, that we have more noise than I have ever experienced in any other apartment I have lived in(I have been living in apts for 10 years). The office staff is always friendly and helpful.

Those are the goods. The bads: Being given notice that our water bill had not been paid and was 30 days past due - I was able to pull up the cashed checks on my banks website to verify it HAD been paid timely.

This past snowfall - there has been NO snow removal. The parking lot is like an ice rink/mogul hill/lake all together. None of the sidewalks have been shoveled, so I have no idea how the elderly are able to get to the mailbox. I'm young and I slipped numerous times. It's impossible to get your car around safely - even today, a week after the blizzard, cars are still getting stuck in the lot. For what we pay, it's ridiculous it's been a week and NO snow removal or shoveling has been done. Meanwhile, apt residents were out all day Thursday shoveling out other people and helping them to get out.

Last winter twice our pipes froze. Now, I'm from Minnesota and I have NEVER had pipes freeze in the winter and we hit double digits below zero often. These buildings are not old enough to have those sorts of problems. We spent an entire day without water one day - they tell us to keep our faucets running to avoid this, but don't offer to reimburse us for our water bill.

For a while the hallway light was out in our hallway and it made it impossible to see our door or to find the keyhole.

Our upstairs neighbors sound like elephants trampling across the floor - the previous residents did not, so it may just be a problem that varies person to person. However, we can clearly hear babies crying, people having sex, etc thru the floor, ceiling and bordering walls.

So you got a "FAT-DUMP" chick for an up stairs neighbor, people crying and babies having sex.....LOL, man-it SUCKS TO BE YOU DUDE!!!!
