We have lived in Lambertson Farms for about 4 months. Overall, I'm a bit disapponted, but I'll start with things I do like.
We have an attached garage on our unit. I think it's very spacious - we have room to park a car, and we've been able to put up shelves and have lots of room for storage. There is also plenty of space in the parking lots (this has been an issue in other places I have lived). They also keep the pool open year round - I haven't used it mid winter, but it's a nice option!

These are my complaints. The biggest is related to snow removal. During Christmas we experienced a very large snow storm (24 inches). While I recognize storms of this magnitude are unusual - we have been bascially without any serious attempt at plowing for 1 week. Four days after the onset of the storm, they did plow some parking spaces (at midnight) so there was some room for cars to park. It still takes me about 10 minutes to get out of the parking lot because there is about 5 inches of packed ice and huge pot holes. It is very hard on my car. And it is extremely dangerous to walk outside to the mailbox or to the dumpsters. I hope no one gets seriously injured. I discussed this matter with the apartment staff today, and I was informed "that the problem is that people who don't have cars meant for snow driving have been creating big holes when they get stuck. They should have left it to the SUV's". No, the problem is you didn't do your job and plow. She also let me know that they have had someone here for a couple of hours everyday, but Christmas. I'm not sure where this person is from, but two feet of snow in an 20 building complex is going to take more than 8 hour to clear.
Another complaint I have is related to package delivery. Every other apartment complex I have lived in, has left little slips in the mailbox informing you that you have received a package in the mail. This complex does not do that. I asked the apartment staff about this matter and was informed that it is the carrier's job to notify recepients. Personally I think it would be a nice courtesy to add this service and it would not be of great troule to them. I recently got married - who knows what wedding gifts I never received an are sitting in the office!
I have not personally experienced any safety issues. However, there was a drive by shooting the weekend before I moved in, and about a month later, a car drove through the parking lots and crashed and severely damaged 3 cars.
Lastly, in our first month of living here, we had a huge ant infestation. We called the maintenance staff to see if they could do anything since spraying wasn't working. It took over a week for them to stop by.
Overall, I am happy with my unit here, but the service is poor. I think for the same price I could find something better.
