This place is the ghetto of Thornton! The public areas are poorly maintained (snow removal is almost unheard of) and very dirty! Since I've lived here, my building has become increasingly littered with peoples trash and cigarette butts. A lot of the people in my building just don't seem to care and will throw their trash wherever (complaining to the office doesn't help). The hallways/stairways are very dirty and in need of a high-pressure cleaning (which I was assured was done on a regular basis but in 18 months I have yet to see it happen).
Maintenance is a nightmare! Even the simplest of service requests can takes weeks (if not months) and numerous phone calls to get anything done. I told the office when I moved in that the outside security lights on my building were not working and it was almost a year before they were fixed! The office staff acts as though they'd rather be anywhere but there and it's an inconvenience for them to be speaking with you.
The swimming pool is always cold (I'm often surprised that it doesn't have chunks of ice floating in it) even in August when the air temperature is over 90! And forget the hot tub. When it is open, it's luke-warm at best and you have to move the empty beer bottles laying on the deck just to get to it (remember my ghetto statement above).
The exercise facility is another story. They have two televisons in there which never seem to work (even if you can find the remote). There are two ceiling fans but only one of them works. It's almost as though the facility was an afterthought and the staff would rather forget that it was even there.
If you have kids, be very, very careful!!! Remember, this is the ghetto. Tenants drive fast through the complex (despite speed bumps) and freely cut corners where the road curves. I've almost been struck both in my car and on foot five or six times.
Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to live besides Lambertson Farms!

your a bitching idiot! this place is not that bad you drama queen! get real almost struck several times? i doubt it. i never see beer bottles thrown all over the pool area and the hot tub is always hot. if you dont like it buy a house!!!!

You're a doofus! You must work for Lambertson Farms. Just because you haven't seen it makes it not true? You're probably one of the idiots that drives too fast through the parking lot. I remember each occasion I was almost hit because I wrote the dates down and complained to the office - yet nothing was done!
