Things HAVE changed. I moved here three years ago, and it was quiet, with friendly neighbors, clean buildings, and even things inside such as appliances seemed to be fine. But over the last year or so, It has gone completely down hill.


Now all I hear is screaming kids, fighting neighbors, or the rattle of the bass too loud next door. My house frequently stinks because smoke seeps through the bathroom wall from the apartment next door, or the smell of pot is coming up from the balcony below.


The grass below some apartment balconies are littered with cigarette butts, and I?ve had my car broken into twice. There is supposedly a security service that comes through at night, but the night my husband?s car got broken into & the stereo stolen, we walked through the parking lot & counted 8 other cars that we could se, just in our lot! Some security we?re paying for, eh'


In fact, security & the neighborhood are so bad, that I won?t go downstairs at night by my self anymore if I don?t have to. It?s not like I?m an old biddy either... I?m 22!


The maintenance staff is nice (better than the office staff), and always comes right away. But because the appliances are so old, they have to come over & over.


I switched apartments within the complex once, and the second one?s dishwasher was broken when I moved in. In both places I ALWAYS had trouble with the washer & dryer (which are too small anyway). The dryer would never dry. Cycle after cycle, wet clothes... up goes the electric bill.


I recommend that you look for somewhere else. We are leaving when the lease is up. It?s not the cute little village they claim anymore!
