We lived at Newport for 2 years, everything was great when we first moved in. Not noise, not messy, maitnance was on top of everything reported.
Well, after a year we had a bike stolen, car keyed, fights out in front of our window, gunshots!
We'll we decided to pack up and leave, and a couple weeks after we left they charged us over $3,000 in damage, THEIR...yes THEIR maitnance men caused from fixing a leak. They put a huge hole in the wall and said they'd come back and fix it.
Tyler the manager never returned a single phone call we made to him. It was only until one day I reached him in person on the phone to have a meeting about these charges.
I will admit he was understanding and took off only $800, but everything else on the bill was stuff that waa damaged even before move in, by proof of our walk thru checklist that they supposedly claim we never turned in! BS
