This is a terrible apartment complex. The layout of the apartment itself isn't bad, a little old and outdated in terms of fixtures, doesn't have very efficient appliances or enough insulation to make heat and AC effective, and the carpet and linolium is terrible. About a month after moving in our apartment started to stink like animal, this was in the summer when it was getting hot and we didn't have any animals ourselves. After complaining to the office they offered a free carpet cleaning but I had to ask the company that did the cleaning for extra work for the pet odor, they said they don't normally do it but they would this time, gee thanks. The linolium is stained and has cigarette burns in it and they were there when we moved in. It took them two weeks to get the exterminator out to deal with a wasp's nest that was out on our balcony. It takes many days for maintenance to show up and when they do they usually have to come back because they didn't fix it the first time. The office staff has had so much turnover you don't know who you will find in there when you go in. Since our first visit to the complex we have delt with four different managers and this is within a year. With turnover like that no wonder everyone is annoyed, management is even around long enough to get to know you. The pool has been closed twice this summer already, once because of vandalism after hours (says alot for after hours security company) and this time it's a mystery. After looking in the area you can pay a little bit more for an almost brand new apartment at other complexes and I recommend you do it if it means you don't have to live here. When you need help with something it's a game of cat and mouse with them but when they need something the threats of legal action come very quickly and it is just sickening.
