We have lived in this hole for a year and it was a year too long. We have lived at other complexes and never had the problems anywhere else like we did here. The moment we moved in it started. First there was major dirt and food left over by the last residents. We said something about that and our terrible blinds. We got a rebate on the dirt factor but no one ever did a thing about our blinds. Our kitchen cabinets swing open on bad hinges, which may seem like no big deal but with small kids, they walk into doors that are swinging open. So we said something and nothing was done. We ve had the garbage disposal break numerous times, but after the second time we figured out how to fix it. Its silly to have a disposal you can t use. There is also paint chips and spots all over this place. We have heavy stains on our cabinets and on the floor, we asked about this and just got a sorry . So anyway, we ve had complaints and then there were times we just had to deal because stuff just wasn t ever handled or just wasn't handled right. But with three different teams of employees come through in a year, it felt like nobody gave a crap since day one anyway! It says something when even the staff doesn't want to stay here, and I got this from the MOUTH of the last manager. She said it flat out!!! We have had horrible neighbors that had animals that urinated on their deck that dripped on ours. These guys made noise that had every single one of their neighbors complain, and we know this cause everyone came together about these guys and their ridiculous noise level. The pets they had weren't supposed to be there and after months of problems they were finally kicked out on the pet issue. Before they left, they spit on cars in the parking lot and dumped packing material on our deck,..pieces of it are still around. We've had maintaince come and work on our A/C four times, with leaks above us and with our own unit. We never went below 75 degrees so it shouldn't have had that many problems. So because of these leaks, we've had major mold issues as well. They've been in twice to try to clean that up and it looks terrible and it keeps coming back. Our hall wall has three different paint colors tring to cover the mold underneath,...we are looking into seeing if they ever got rid of it properly. We spoke with another resident that said he had to stay in a motel while they tried to fix his mold problem. Thats just unhealthy! They make you sign a "mold agreement" here and its because they KNOW this place has major issues where that is concerned. Our sink backs up constantly as does one of the toilets. Maintance has never come to fix cheap blinds that are falling apart, and no one has ever fixed our fireplace so we can use it. We were told to fix the fireplace it would take days and we would have to leave the apartment and we could also expect dust everywhere! We have two small children and cannot do this, and we can't have that kind of dust in our home so needless to say it wasn't taken care of in any way shape or form and yet we pay for a fireplace every month. There have been many thefts in this complex as well. Several cars were broken into, and we had neighbors come to us and other tenants for help finding the persons who did this when the office blew them off. Another car was on blocks after someone stole their tires! Neighbors near us have constant trash and an empty keg on their deck, that s been there for weeks!! These people also had a sofa in the breeze way for two weeks! And no one said anything! This is supposed to be a nice complex with strict guidelines but NO one follows them. The bugs are insane here as well. They have people spray here once a week around the building cause of the rocks and open space around this area so there are tons of spiders...this is part is not anyone's fault but its just an FYI for people that don't like bugs in their home. The part that is their fault is the bees that have nested in an apartment deck by us and bushes as well, and with three or four requests to have it taken care of cause we can t use our deck, nothing was done but a guy and a can of raid. Oh and shock, the bees are still there! In the winter the insulation in the apartment is awful and you can feel a breeze by your door, which has a major give in it anyway, and by windows. And so more money for heating. And speaking of money, we all pay to have a nice theatre room and exercise equipment,but the theatre room has had a broken screen since we moved in! These are things that we pay for in a nicer complex, and when it s a hassle to use the clubhouse and the perks that are showcased before move in, that never come through are another disappointment as well. And after all of this, the biggest reason NOT to live here is how the staff treats you. They are cold, inconsiderate and fake. The manager that is here now, acts nice as long as you kiss her butt. Once she found out we were leaving her tune changed and she s been a nightmare. She yelled at my husband and insulted him when he brought up all the problems at this place and how it was NEVER handled. The entire time we ve lived here the staff, no matter who they were, were mean and uncaring that this is supposed to be a person or family s home. They don t care about you here and when you leave they make it pretty plain how much they don t care. With all of our problems and all of the issues, these people acted as though it was OUR problem and didn t care about anything we said ever. No one should ever have to hound management to fix, help and respond to apartment issues or beg for belief in terrible neighbors. Stay away from this place, it looks nice on the outside, but looks can be deceiving.
