The Summit at Thornton is not to horrible. My fianc and I are still living here. We have a hole over our shower that leaks every time the people above us shower, they fixed it once, after about a month and a half of leaking. But it has started leaking again. The way these apartments are set up you can see light from the people below you through were your heater is. We can always smell the people above us smoking. Oh yeah and if someone in the building takes a shower the same time you do, you better hurry up cause you lose your hot water in a matter of minutes. The water will be extremely hot, then boom just cold. None of the maintenance people take care of the buildings; the halls and laundry rooms are never cleaned. Also when we first moved in we had no screens on 2 of our windows, and that was back in September, and still do not have any. As for the people in the office, Julie is nice, she is on a first name bases with us and we have been here 6 months. This is not to horrible of a place to live, especially if you are getting out of someone else s house.

Well that was a few years ago. We still live in this complex. The complex just keeps getting worse. We had several dozen huge pottholes in the parking lot, so once they did finally decide to fill them, which was almost 6 months later, they did so with rocks, and gravel. Then finally 6 months after that, they patched them right. Shortly after I wrote the above reveiw, our shower started leaking, and now almost 5 years later then finally fixed that too. Every oher month it seemed like they were coming up here to try and fix it. I use that term very losely. Oh and the staff, was changed yet again. Now we have some hispanic women in charge, and they barly speak english. Sometimes the other people are loud, and yes things seem to fall apart, but I rather live here with my husband, than have to be living with somebody else. Besides where else in this city, can you get a decent size apartment for only $622 a month. I only recommend this complex, if you are a young couple starting out, or you need to move away from home.
