I've lived here for a year now with my lease ending at the end of may and I have to say i've loved it. I've had a great experience from the start with the great staff in the office (two in particular). The office by the way is amazing! I love the theatre room and have used it tons of times after I first moved in. Now it gets a little out of hand and it seems like there is always someone in there, most the time kids. The computer room, pool table, pool, sun deck, etc... the whole place is great.
However,my experience here hasn't been perfect though. For the price of my 1 room flat i'm paying a boat load!!!! This place is nice but expensive! Also being the first one to live in my apartment, some things didn't work at first and needed to get fixed (countertops and garbage disposal). I think the bigest issue I ran into was with the PARKING. When I first moved in everyone was able to park on both sides of the streets. Somehow with little/no notice it had been changed by the community cause firetrucks couldn't fit down the road. Long story short a tow truck arives one night to start picking up cars. After a massive argument (and almost fight)with the towers and lead maintinence VS many tenants. you can now only park on one side of the street. So needless to say parking is a hassel if you get home late, and you've gotta be able to parallel park! Although the walk is never that bad if you have to park far. The community seems cut off from the rest of denver so you feel really safe walking around at any time. ***JUST BEWARE OF THE DOG POOP!!! That's a massive issue here is that nobody cleans up after their dang dogs!!
Noise can be a little bit of an issue outside late at night. There always seems to be kids riding their motocycles around and doing tricks late at night (although they might have moved out). The buildings carry sound very well cause they are close together. BE WARNED THAT YOU WILL NOT HAVE MUCH PRIVACY HERE! The buildings are close, the doors, windows and walls thin. someone standing on their balcony can easily see you sitting on your couch in your apartment or vis versa.
Overall a good community if you like city living. This is very much like how it'd be living downtown. If you don't like that idea then you might not like it here. If you have the money, get one of the Row Homes cause the flats are pretty expensive for what they are but still nice.
