When we were given the sales pitch to sign this lease, the Clubhouse which includes the concierge service & movie room & business center were highly touted as being avialable till 9 P.M. Mon. to Fri. Unfortunately, 2 weeks ago management sent out a memo saying due to staff shortage the Clubhouse & all the amenities in it will now close at 5 P.M until they can hire a new evening concierge. VERY INCOVENIENT! Wonder why they can't hire a temp person immediately. Maybe I'll tell them I'm going to pay my rent a bit later & see how well that goes over.

Amenities are actually exactly what the word "Amenity" means... "Social Courtesies". Your rent pays for your apartment, and your apartment alone.

Hey brain child, if the rent the tennant pays each month is not paying for the "Social Courtesies" then who is paying for them? Therefore the tennent should expect to get what was promised. If the property management can't make these amenities available then they should not offer them as part of their sales pitch to potential tennents.
