A Decent Place to Live - Expensive

I have lived in a rowhouse here for the past year and a half. Overall the experience has been pleasant. The apartment is nicely sized and the attached garage is much appreciated. Management is friendly and helpful, and maintenance requests are handled promptly and professionally. I occasionally hear the dogs next door barking through the wall, which is annoying, but more an issue of poor pet ownership than the complex. I also have a dog, and pick up after her. Unfortunately many residents do not do the same, despite the strategic placement of bags and receptacles. There are large amounts of dog poo on all grassy areas, and even my dog prefers the cleaner sidewalk to the park area.
Pet rent is $25 a month per animal and there are a lot of dogs (an cats) living in Bradburn. I wish they would use the pet rent funds to keep the grounds clean and presentable.
When I renewed my lease after 1 year, my rent was raised over $200 a month, which I think was ridiculous. I negotiated a lower amount, but do not plan on re-newing again if the trend of double digit % increases continues.

The complex does not use the money to clean up after the dogs and their owners. They do not care about the poop all over their property. The walls are thin. You can hear more than just animals! I do not reccomend living here. The people are nice, but it is just an act.
