Archstone recently came under new management, and they are horrible. They try to charge you for every little thing, and have recently started using shady practices, such as threatening to return your rent so that you are charged heafty late fees. In addition, they have raised my rent by almost $100/month. People break into your car repeatedly, you can hear every little thing your upstairs/downstairs neighbors do, and the appliances are ancient and constantly breaking down. Stay away from this place!!

The letter I got said that I didn't pay my Ista Bill and if i didn't pay it my rent check would be sent back. so maybe you should tell the whole story and pay your bills.
