Not worth the money

Although it's true that these apartments have big living rooms and a big bedroom, that is basically the ONLY amenity that there is. There is a tiny pool and a very cracked, old tennis court. They raised everyone's rent last year to build the new clubhouse/workout facility that they haven't even broken ground on! What on EARTH did we all pay more money for' Maintenance has changed 3 (now FOUR) times since we have lived here. Although the current guy who works here seems better than the last two, it still takes a very long time for things to get fixed. I have been burned/frozen/normal/burned/frozen (what always happens) in the apartment ever since we have moved in. We have submitted about 8 requests for this to be fixed, and here we are... over a year later and I am still constantly being burned and frozen in the shower... no matter WHAT time of day it is!

You have to put things in writing otherwise they most likely will not get done. Our ceiling had a leak in it and so far it has taken about a month to fix, and even now I don't think it's really fixed, it's just summer so we can't tell if it's still leaking. They came out and 'fixed' it once, but when it rained again that section of the wall and ceiling turned brown. Great. Real quality work guys. They go the cheapest way because they get bonuses for spending as little money as possible on repairs. The pool was scheduled to open on May 28th, which I already thought was very late, and it didn't open till half way through June. The apartments are overpriced because they are next to expensive real estate, million dollar homes, etc. They are not up to par with the other buildings in the area, yet they charge the same. If you do a simple search for 2 or more bedrooms nearby, you will find much newer, nicer apartments with a TON of amenities for about the same price or sometimes even less. The trees are nice though.

Oh and there have been drainage problems in the parking lot the whole time I have lived here and nothing is done about them. All they need to do is fill them in with cement, such a simple solution to a very dangerous problem, especially during winter. During the summer the puddles remain stagnant with bees and nasty things flying all around. Why they don't fix this is beyond me. During the winter it takes them FOREVER to get the sidewalks taken care of, I mean until 2 or 3 in the afternoon usually.
And the maintenance on the parking lot in general during the winter is horrible as well. There are such simple things that could make this place more enjoyable, but oh well. We'll be outta here when our lease is up.

Stay here at your own risk, the apartment staff is shady. They will try to jack your rent up $50 to get you to stay, and the only thing they ever try to improve is the appearance of the property, not the actual apartments. I'm sure all the tenants would much rather have them put money into their apartments instread of stupid stuff like new signs, a fence and the carports.

Just curious, how's the a/c in your apartment? I've read a lot of reviews about people in apartments that have central air, yet the a/c is so bad that the temp in the apartments still gets super high.

The A/C in our apartment was HORRIBLE. We had maintenance come out to fix it so many times and they could never fix it! The problem is it was in the hall, which has a very different temp than the living room with the huge ceiling. My husband finally fixed it by taking it off the hall wall and setting it up on the dining room wall. I think he put it back when we moved out so whatever unlucky person that lives in our apartment now is probably burning/freezing.
