I am currently looking for a place for my wife and I, and was attracted to Environs due to reasonable rents coupled with what seemed like spacious condos (based on square the footage I was quoted over the phone). When I arrived at my scheduled showing I was greeted by a very rude middle-aged woman who literally did not look up at me from her computer screen for the first five minutes. At some point, without looking at me, she fumbled around in her desk drawer, pulled out a brochure, and flung it at me. When she finally tore herself away from her computer she asked a bunch of nosey questions about my employement (I was made to fill out a surprising amount of paperwork in order to simply be shown an apartment) and engaged me in a generally awkward conversation regarding what I was looking for. She was so off-putting that by the time we were on our way to look at the apartment I had already made up my mind not to apply. If my drivers license had not still been in the management office, I think I would have just taken off. In short, the "1,000 sq. ft." condo looked suspiciously smaller than advertised, the buildings needed paint and, as others have mentioned, the whole place seemed to be afflicted by a plague of feral cats. I wadded up the brochure for Environs and happily pitched it straight into the trash.

Same thing happened to me! My boyfriend and I were going to look in to one of the single family homes. We drove up to what looked to be a fairly nice place. We went inside to find two ladies sitting at there desks doing what appeared to be "work" since I was important enough to even say "we will be with you in a minute" I stepped into the restroom by the time I came out my boyfriend said lets go! The woman got up from their desks and walked off like he was a ghost...these people are RUDE RUDE RUDE!
