I only wish I knew who the person was who wrote this most recent comment. The truth is that, sadly, there are still residents who had poor experiences on the property before we purchased it back at the end of March. Sometimes that can really linger with a person, and regardless of staff / management change it does not impact their choice to move out.

I can tell you that there were issues with flooded apartments in the first few months we were here, and those issues were due to the city water surges in Westminster. Those problems have since been rectified, as we have not had a flooded unit since realization of the problem after purchasing the property. Our dedicated maintenance staff was at the property during that time for 12-16 hour days, and took 24-hour watch shifts to make sure we were here for our residents during that process. Unfortunately some residents do not take the time to notice what we do to make times like that as easy as they can possibly be given the circumstances.

There were issues with maintenance mentioned in the most recent comment. Just to re-assure anyone reading, Equity Residential is committed fully to Total Satisfaction. We proudly offer a 48-hour maintenance guarantee. This promises that any routine maintenance request is completed within 2 business days or we will pay rent until it is taken care of. In addition, I have worked in this industry for 3 years. Equity Residential has some of the most dedicated staff and maintenance teams I have ever seen. Our snow removal is excellent, as our team is out there before our property wakes up to remove snow if there is anything more than 1/2 inch on the ground.

I do not know exactly how things were done with the previous management company but I can say we love our residents and take great pride in our jobs and property. Most of us live on site, so we are that much more committed to making this a great place to live.

It is understandable to have reservations about any life decision such as home choice, after all that is where you spend most of your time and where you want to relax. You can therefore take great comfort in the fact that we offer a 30-day guarantee. We are so sure our residents are going to love living here that we GUARANTEE it. If you are unhappy with your living experience in any way, you are free to move out within the first 30 days with no lease break penalties.
