Okay, it's a cheap apartment if cost is your driving factor. Having said that, you get what you pay for. The maintenance is poor and sloppy. The office staff are not at all helpful or pleasant to deal with, although if you're just saying hello they appear to be able to respond. The plumbing is extremely noisy and all the fixtures are old and in need of replacement. The airflow is wretched, making it almost unbearable in the summer. The parking situation is poor, but it typically is at most apartment complexes. I had my car stereo stolen while I lived there (it was parked in my assigned carport: as secure a spot as any), which is indicative of the area of town. When I moved out, my notice of intent to vacate stated my lease termination fee as one month's rent. The management then charged me an additional $780 in penalties for breaking my lease after the fact. Not only that, but they sent the bills to my old Lakeview apartment address instead of my new address (clearly shown on the intent to vacate notice), so by the time I even learned that they said I still owed money the debt had been turned over to a collection agency. Long story short, this is a horrible place to live and if the management gets a chance they'll try to screw you. Do not live here.

I lived at Lakeview for a year and a half and I can completely agree with what this person is stating. Everything is true. I also had my car stereo stolen. The management doesn't care about anything except for their money, so don't expect anything out of them. I wouldn't wish these apartments on my worst enemy. If you think that I am just being critical...please look around the place before signing any papers. Notice how the staircases are rusing and stairs have cracks in them. Notice how the elevators never work. Check it out before you sign...you will thank me later.
