I chose to live in the Village of Greenbriar Apartments because I was in a bind and needed a place to move in quickly. The rent was cheap and I was able to move in within a week. Since that time, I have decided to purchase a home. Again, the rent is relatively inexpensive (680 for a 2 bedroom unless you go month to month)so, I stayed so that I could save money for the house. The apartment looks like it is falling apart. The cabinets have never been replaced - they are sticky, dirty and disgusting. The fixtures and bathroom are straight out of the 1970's. We did get a new dishwasher, fridge and stove. Of course you can't be at the kitchen sink and open the dishwasher because there isn't space. The maintenance crew though nice is inadequate!
They painted over our breaker box. We had to pry it open with a knife. The ceiling is sagging and I think it will just fall down one day. The noise in the parking lot is awful at all hours of the night. There is a security guard who comes to talk to one of the residents and just sits and smokes for an hour then leaves.He never patrols or does anything about the car alarms that go off at all hours or the people who party in the parking lot. They have no on call assistance - unless you pay out of pocket for it. So the night our toilet wouldn't stop running we had to call a plumber at our own cost.
The manager has the personality of a wet rag. I have never been late on a payment, never complained of any issues and yet she is still rude and demeaning.
AVOID LIVING AT THE VILLAGE OF GREENBRIAR AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
