I lived at the Vintage for a year and had nothing but problems from day one. The first night we moved in our water heater an the heat would not work. After saying that the maintenance guys were on call 24.7 I thought that they would be able to help us out but instead I was put on hold for 30 minutes and never was able to call maintenance.
When we moved in I noticed a small crack in the bath tub, but the leasing staff told us not to worry about it. That it had been there for quite some time and had not caused a leak. That wasn't so after about a month the crack got quite a bit bigger and started leaking. They had to come in and resurface our tub which was supposed to fix the problem. The tub was fixed for about a month when it cracked again.....so there solution was to resurface it again, you would think that they would learn after the first time that it wasn't going to fix the problem. After a week this time it cracked again and they wanted to resurface it. If the resurfacing wasn't such a disaster each time I would have said yes, but when they resurface you are required to cover all your furniture and remove any plants or animals from house. The resurfacing puts dust and chemicals all over, plus you have to deal with the smell of nail polish for three days you also can not use your bathtub for three days. The leasing office also told me that they were not going to clean up after the resurfacing. So all the cleaning was left up to me, like I really have time for that. After it cracked again one of the maintenance guys said they were going to cut a hole through my closet and put suppoer underneath the tub. The cut the hole did all that and left a huge dusty mess yet again. then they had to come in and do a small resurfacing job. Shortly after the tub cracked again but in more places, I told them I wanted a reduction on my rent for the inconvenience that they were causing and they told me that they would not do that. So instead we left the tub cracked.
The second problem we had was a GFI in our was not working so every time you plugged something into it the power to the bedroom and the bathroom went out, after having maintenance in to fix it mulitple times with no luck I gave up and started doing my hair elsewhere.
We had our car broken into three times while it sat right in front of our garage. It never had anything in it.
I have multiple golf ball dents in my car.
There was never anywhere to park if you got home after nine many people had to park in the handicapped spots and ended up getting tickets.
Everyone in the leasing office is downright dumb or rude exept of Sue and Chery they actually know how to treat people right.
I went through three washers when i lived there because they rent the cheapest ones they can find.
We also had a neighbor shatter her glass door above us and we had glass falling down for three weeks. They would come clean it up everday but never bothered to fix the door. When we moved out there was still glass on our patio.
The is always dog crap laying all over the place, and the apartments are very very cold in the winter.
Your water bill will be extremely high becuase they tack extra fees onto it.
You will lose tons of money at the Vintage living in "luxury living" Its by far the worst place I have ever lived.
Spend your money elsewhere. Anywhere is nicer than there.

I had the same problem with the tub but I didn't complain because I had a feeling it would be a hassle. The tubs sucked all together I used bath bubbles in it once and it stained the bottom. I tried everything to get it off and ended up getting charged for it when I moved out.

ME TOO! My tub had a crack to begin with so I let it be...then it started leaking and and my carpet was staying soaked so we couldn't ignore it any longer. The apt said this happens a lot and its not a big deal. BUT they made me stay in a guest apartment for 3 days in the middle of my work week and it was awful. All of my clothes, food etc was at my apartment and so I had to go back and forth between two apartments to get ready everyday. It was pointless anyway because it just started cracking again. I ALSO got a $200 ticket for parking in handicap because there was no parking and I was afraid to park too far and get mugged or something.
