Seems from when I briefly lived there, they really don't want any renters at all or anyone with lower incomes living there. It has turned from a rustic mountain village of friendly caring people to a high class high income yuppie colony of mostly greedy self-centered transplanted Californians and others who have changed the whole image and style of the town itself with huge amounts of money inflating the whole real estate market of the area so only the privileged are allowed to live there today..
