Happy Tenant AGAIN

I also would label the entire staff as caring. I lived at the Hawthorne 3 years ago under Bozuto Mgt., was transferred to another state for work and transferred back to Hartford. I chose to live at the Hawthorne again, even though they are under new management. I will be transferred again in 8 months, but I there if I relocated back to CT again. Some things have changed, but minimally. They seem to be busier under the new company. The answering service does pick up more, but they always call back. The sales leasing agent mentioned by "Looks Can be Deceiving" and other staff people have called me back even after hours (many times after closing hours at 6PM, & even one after 7PM) to follow up on my phone calls. With any new management, change is always inevitable, but you cannot blame the office staff. I am glad that they all stayed. The Staff was/is always wonderful and attentive to my needs and other people living there. They are very busy but still attentive by answering questions, assisting in any way and providing many activities. I see that more people are attending them. Inspections happened four times a year with advance notice. I would prefer to live somewhere that the management company cares about what is going on in apartments, than not care at all. I worked in Apartment Management 10 years ago and people never change. You would not believe the way people lived and you do not find out about it until after they moved out and do not want to pay for their damages. In response to Overrated , I agree about the pet stations. I have a dog and the bags do run out and I have seen other residents grab 4 & 5 bags at a time. Most residents with dogs (95%) are considerate. The office does re-fill them. The pool can get crazy but how can they control people s kids at the pool. That is the parents responsibility. In response to "Looks Can be Deceiving", obviously, you had issues there and I am sorry for that but with any situation there are always 2 sides and we are only hearing one. It is funny how anonymous people like to slander other people's name. Seems low, and malicious to slander someone's name and try to damage their reputation. Regarding that leasing sales agent, she does a great job and I am sure she has to deal with difficult people daily. Like the rest of us in our jobs, they (the staff) have company policies and rules that dictates their dealing with people that live there. Don't we all have to do that no matter whether we are in education, insurance, sales or apt. management' No apartment community is 100% perfect and I have seen worst because of traveling for my job. The Hawthorne is close to paradise because I have seen hell with other communities.
