What a shame! The downturn in a short time is amazing.

I couldn't agree more with the latest posting. This was a great place when I moved in. It was something of a stretch for me financially, but I decided I wanted to live in a nice place and was willing to pay the price.
Over the last year, it has turned into a glorified dorm - minus the adult supervision and security. Drunk kids wandering around the parking lot screaming at 2AM. Blaring music. Car break-ins are now being reported. The kids have also trashed the nice gas grills we have for common use. And I'm spending down to my last dime because I wanted to live somewhere "nice". It could make you cry!
The staff is nice. I have had no problems with them at all, and the maintenance crew I've found to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. But all the nice people in the world can't make me feel like I'm getting anything close to my money's worth anymore. The new management has decided on the kind of tenant they want, and that is not me. The plan now seems to be to pile five or six college kids into every unit and turn it over every year. Sad.
