I echo the sentiments of others here about the noise problems. Unless you are on the top floor you will hear every single step of the person living above you. Also the music selection of your neigbors will affect you day and night.

Also since Avalon is a large corporation they will find every way to nickle and dime its residents. Amenity charges, activity fees and the like really add up.

I would look elsewhere for a better deal or at least request an apartment on the upper level.
