Not sure where the other reviewers are living, but the avalon valley that I live at in Danbury is awesome! I love this place. If you have ever owned a house, which it sounds like some of the negative reviews may have never done, since they sound young and immature in the area of residential responsibility, you will know the effort it takes to keep property as clean, safe, free of ice, up-dated as avalon valley does. Unless you are expecting life to be perfect, there are always going to be rare things that happen, like some ice after a storm (duh!, watch where you're walking) or you apartment will flood IF you set off the sprinklers (another duh). Sure it's pricey, but whereelse in this area can you find all this. I looked at dumps for 1200 in broken down three family houses in Danbury and Ridgefield. Finally found my way here, and now live in a top floor one bedroom with a loft office and views of the pool and a fireplace f or $1500 and I'm happy to pay every penny of it. I love it! Management and maintenance are great; they work very very hard and are very friendly and service oriented. I feel like I'm living in a hotel with the level of service and carefree living that Avalon offers.
