I moved to Hillcroft b/c it was basically the only "affordable" apartment that would allow pets. "Affordable" is a laughable term, though, since they charge WAY too much for the renovated apartments. The kitchens aren't bad, but like someone else said, there is no counterspace and the washer dryer combo does NOT dry clothes! It also shakes and comes out from underneath the counter, even with a minimal load, properly distributed. I had to put two things in there for two hours in order to dry them.

The bathroom "renovations" are sad too - the bathtub was clogged within a week of me being there, and the faucet and soap dish were all coroded.

I asked to see my exact apartment before I moved in. I called a few days after the date they said renovations would be done, but -----or whatever her name is told me it was not ready. She didn't even look into it - she basically just made something up without checking into it.

I left my bike on my patio, but it was stolen within the week. Also, someone took a plant I put on my patio, so I stopped putting anything out there altogether.

Obnoxious college kids are there, and I repeatedly found broken beer bottles either in front of my door or on the back patio.

Kids also run rampantly, screaming and running up and down the stairs all the time.
And you can hear the person upstairs walking all around...ALL the time. You can hear phone conversations, music, everythign. If they do laundry, forget about it - there is no peace.

The mail situation is also ridiculous. First of all, no one tells you where the mailboxes are. You spend half an hour trying to find them when you first move in. It turns out, they are in a disgusting, old, smelly room, where a lot of people's mail is scattered on the floor b/c there is no room and the mailboxes are busting open. There were several times when I did not receive the mail I was expecting b/c the boxes were too small, and had already been crammed full with flyers and other crap.

And - like another renter said - there is NO parking. They don't assign parking, so if you get back late (any time after 9pm), there is NOwhere to park. I'm not even kidding. People park in fire lanes and handicapped spaces and nobody cares!!!

This place is trying to be something it's not. They make you believe everything is nicely renovated and this is a nice alternative to, say, Avalon, but it's a --------

Seriously, heed everyone's warning and stay the f--- out.

Weird. Then why did she say "This is ----" when she answered the phone? This was last year when I moved in.

um pretty sure that it's the responc. of the person to pick up there mail. if people did the mail boxes would not be jammed. blame the lazy person that lives next door to you. -----is long gone!!!!!

First of all -----WAS SCREWING EVERYONE AND WHO CARES HOW LONG SHE IS GONE !!!! This person said ----- din not look into the problem addressed. I totally agree our car was broken in to twice . Its very loud NOT SAFE AT ALL ! PLEASE -----SHE LOVED HERSELF TO MUCH TO ADDRESS ANY ONES PROBLEMS HAD HER OWN DRAMA AND THE GIRLS IN THE OFFICE WHO REPLACED HER . No Better .. sorry// Place is a dump with make up .... -----is NOT LONG GONE ...... SHE LEFT IN JULY .... She could caRE LESS . PLACE IS DISGUSTING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AND MOST PEOPLE ARE LOW LIVES . THEY RENT TO ANY ONE BACK GROUND CHECK . GIMME A BREAK !
