Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2001
I feel pretty safe, although security
could be improved. The front doors to
the unit are often broken. The main
gate to the apartment complex is
closed between 6pm and 6am (I think) and
you open it with a magnetic card, but
the wooden arm is frequently broken (it
seems like at least twice a week!) - they
do fix it within a day or two. It's of little use, though, if it's so easily broken
(rammed, I guess). They actually had a guard
at one time - much better.
My apartment is quiet. Overall, I'd
recommend for an apartment in East Hartford,
but you might do better in the surrounding
area.
