I lived in Stony Brook for a year. It was the worst experience Ive ever had renting anywhere. Lucy, Stacy and Bob are the worst management team ever. They are super nice when you move in but the first time you have a question or god forbid a problem they are so rude and condescending. Everything was our fault not the fault of the management company for not repairing things correctly. They are so fake its not even funny. Lucy and Bob live probably rent free in the complex thats probably why they dont care how things are run as long as they are getting there rent for free. Most of the other renters are ok. I had one neighbor that was friendly to everyone but it was so that she could run back and tattle on you to Lucy. Shes since moved and Im sure she is doing the same where ever she lives now. She would come on here and write good reviews to do damage control all the while claiming that it was only so that she would get her deposit back. Please. What a liar. When I complained about another neighbor walking thier dogs off leash and letting them poop everywhere and not cleaning it up I was told to take pictures and bring them to the office. Im sorry but thats not my job. They should investigate claims on thier own. Im sure they had plenty of others watching for them though so be careful. I know that they always knew who visited me and for how long and I didnt even live near the office. I had in all over 65 complaints in the year that I lived there. Of the 65 only about 6 were fixed. These were not frivilous complaints either. Most were electrical. Some were plumbing related. And others were general repairs that should have been done to the unit before I even moved in. All in all I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Its too expensive for the aggrevation you get from living there.
