I lived at Cornfield for 2 1/2 years and I'd recommend it to potential renters. The area is very nice and fairly safe. The staff was courteous and helpful. Rent wasn't too bad.

My gripe was the paper thin walls and some very loud rude neighbors! One in particular to the right of me, was one of the nastiest people I've ever met. He obviously had an OCD and hatred for women. He had a dirt bike which he'd fix in front of his apt. reving the throttle so loud it hurt your ears, he'd also wash his car every day and didn't care if yours was next to it, or if you had to jump over the hose and all the suds and water was in front of your door. There were several complaints about him to mgmt., but they were not able to do anything since he was an attorney and threatened to sue if they harrassed him any more. To the left of me was a couple who put their surround-sound speakers on the wall right next to mine. You all know what that sounds like - but you can also feel it rumbling. I complained to mgmt., and the noise level went down a few decibels, but it was still pretty aweful. To me, that was the worst part about Cornfield. I finally couldn't take it anymore and left.
