I lived at JA as a grad student at UConn. My building was relatively quiet, although since smoking is allowed, I couldn't keep my windows open in the summer because it would reak of smoke.
The only major problem I had was with the office staff applying my rent check to someone else's apartment. So four months after this happened, I figured out that they though I was a month behind in rent (they didn't even try to contact me to ask if I had missed a payment). So after providing copies of my bank records, they credited me for the rent.
Ellington is a nice town, but I would recommend looking around if you have the cash to get something a little nicer.

good and accurate review...I know there is 1 building they try to keep smoke free, building #1 for anyone looking for that.
