When I moved in back in 2007, the place was under different management & the leasing managers were of maturity. The complex changed management sometime in 08 and the place has gone down hill ever since. First off, the security cameras disappeared, which was a huge mistake (due to budget) because then huge amounts of trash started to fill the lobby, and continue to this day. The building I lived in, smelt of trash and Indian food on a regular basis. Vandalism from tenants was happening in the elevators & lobby which was embrassing when I would bring my parents over.The neighborhood was terrible and heard of other residents getting there cars broken into. (Hondas disappear easily from here) They brought nice equipment into the GYM, but when I was last in there near the end of January, one of the treadmills and elliptical machine with the TV set on still did not work, and it has been since late October when it first broke. (My friend has a gym membership there and recently they went up 40% on the gym membership.) Surprising since there is never a gym attendant in there, the exercise mats are smelly, old and beaten up and the pool is ALWAYS ice cold. Temp is 60 to be exact, hardly heated, and on the weekends you never see a filled chemical bottle to clean machines with and the paper towels sometimes are not filled during the week. You try to complain or leave a suggestion, but its ignored. Every time I walk in the management office, it was always a big party in there between the leasing consultants and managers, they never seem to take any complaints seriously. Rent went up 30% last year and when I was approached to renew my lease there was ANOTHER 25% increase! I know the place is losing tenants, but maybe if you listen to your residents,help make this place safer and CLEANER, maybe people will stick around, but instead take it out on the current residents and jack up rents. I use to love it there, but in the end, it was disappointing, and I am glad I am gone.
