Countrywood, like all apts. has its good and bad traits. The worst thing i have to complain about is the smell of the premesis. Becuause Countrywood is so close to the Connecticut river, occasionaly it stinks of trash outside. Also, each apt. is assigned one parking space, which creates a bit of competition amongst tennants for guest parking. The staff is friendly and helpful for the most part, and are fairly quick to respond to any complaints. The best part about living here is the location. It is less than 5 minutes to both rt. 91 and the enfield mall. There is anything and everything you could possible need in the area- from auto stuff, Big Y, about a billion resteraunts, movie theatres ect. The apts themselves are loft style. Guests always compliment the place. Great showers, one and half baths...decently quiet too. Ceiling fans and two air conditioning units help keep the place cool. Lots of closet space...but itty bitty kitchen. Appliances including garbage disposal all in good working condition. There was brand new carpeting in my place when i first moved in. Good place to live, especially for commuters to either Springfield or Hartford. ps...great view from second floor window.
