This complex is ok, but the rent is outrageous for what you get and the staff is not personable. We pay $1,000 a month for a 1 bedroom, 900 SF apartment and there is only one washer and one dryer for 8 apartments. It is in the basement, so you have to constantly go up and down just waiting for it to become available and then spend most of the day doing laundry and running up and down stairs. And no laundry after 8:30. So if you work, it is just about impossible to do more than one load a week. Either the machines are being used or it is after hours. Management does not care. Our wall unit airconditioners are so old they barely work. Management does not care. They did tell us we could go buy new ones and they would help us install them though.

Manager's Response

The rent per square foot is actually quite reasonable for Farmington. We have just replaced the washers and dryers with brand new energy efficient front load machines. The machines have greater capacity as well. Unlike some complexes you do not need to leave your apt building to do laundry. We will try to address a/c issues and work toward a better customer experience.

You could use a laundomat. I think the laundry onsite may at times be inconvenient but it isn't used by 1,000 people therefore is cleaner than going to a laundromat. I also saw them installing new machines Front load ones recently. $1,000 a month for a WATERFRONT apartment? that's cheap! Try buying a house on the water. You do have cheaper options but you CHOSE to live here! The place is lovely too by the lake and all. People even use canoes here! The townhouse is nearly as big as a house! and the floors are beautiful! There is so much going for this place that complaining about the laudry seems trivial.

Management- I appreciate your response, but it is still one washer and one dryer for the whole building. I've been up and down the stairs twice today... still have not been able to start my laundry. Anonymous- you are laughable. Really, a waterfront house would cost more than $1000.00 a month? Thanks for the heads up genius. And can you please point me towards this laundromat? I know Farmington is just teeming with them.
