Change has come to Bishop Court

Years at this apartment: 2008 - 2008

2008 has brought many changes to Bishop Court Apartments in Groton, Connecticut
All new energy efficiant windows in every apartment and some doors. All building got all new roofing. All the brick has been updated with a nice Cream color and white trim. Coming soon a secure gated community and a name change for 2009. Also coming is new electric heat in every apartment. The complex also has all new insulation in roofs and under the buildings. Every building has new concrete steps, front and back. Work on hallways is coming and other improvements.
My parents sold their home and moved in February 2008 and plan on renewing their lease.
The property has a great inground pool, playground, tennis/basketball courts, onsite laundrys with electronic card key machines, well maintained landscape etc. The neighbors are friendly and get together for summer picnics and celebrate Sailfest and watch the fireworks each July from the entrance of the property.
The rent is $750 for a one bedroom and $850 for a two bedroom. Month to month add $15 to the prices. Heat, HotWater and your electric you must pay for. The bill runs about $300 each month in winter. Still cheap if you had to pay oil. With the property improvements, bills should be lower in 2009.
Management is GREAT. The manager is respectful and professional and cares about resident needs. The maintenance is efficient and quick to respond to service request. A property that was once the PITS is now the jewel and sought after apartment community to live in Groton. I'm happy my senior parents found a safe and quiet community to live in.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK BISHOP COURT and can't wait for the Name Change in 2009.
