Groton Towers

 

The apartment was really nice, but the noise!!! The walls are paper thin and they actually had a mechanical bird noise maker thing on the roof of one of the buildings.

For the entire day it would blast the MOST irritating series of bird calls and the noise would bounce between the buildings making it inescapable.

It was the "Birdguard Pro",it's meant to keep real birds away - but it wasn't there when I moved out, no thanks to the property management who denied its existance.

They harrassed me over the crazy rantings of my dillusional neighbor, threatening to kick me out for something that they had no evidence of.

It was very expensive (I pay less for the 3 br that I'm in now than I paid for my 1 br there), but complexes in groton are over-priced.
The elevator was almost always broken
Maintenance was pretty good, very nice.

All in all, it's a decent starter place when you're unfamiliar with the area, but don't stay longer than you have to and be prepared for hassle.
