My husband and I were all set up to get a two bedroom apartment with La Triumphe until the management yanked us around and tried to screw us. Once the time came for us to move in, after months of perparation with the establishment, they told us, out of the blue, that we didn't qualify for a two bedroom and we would have to take a one bedroom unit instead, which is interesting because then we went to Country Glen and qualified for their two bedroom apartment which was the same price! Not only did they want us to downgrade to a one bedroom, they wanted us to give them a security deposit plus not one but two months rent before moving in! Who can afford to do all that' I got the impression that the staff felt as though they were better than us. The lady in the office made me cry...I told her off and we went to Country Glen where they gladdly set us up in a two bedroom and we moved into an apartment that same day. The apartments at La Triumphe are not worth the money anyways. I had a friend that lived in them and her apartment was awful. After spending time in her place I was so relieved we didn't live there. The grounds and management office look very nice, but the apartments themselves are not. The deck looked like it was going to collapse if you stepped foot onto it...the appliances were old and run down...the square footage was unimpressive...it just wasn't that great...period. My friend moved out after one year, as soon as her lease was up. Why pay a high price to be treated inferior and live in a less than mediocre establishment' Take your hard earned money somewhere else!
