MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE CREW ARE UNBELIEVABLY INCOMPETENT

Aspen glen is probably not the worst place i have ever lived, but it is close.
the managenagent staff are rude and the maintenace crew are clueless.
Maintenance supervisor, the guy from -----, is just not up to it at all.
within a nine month span i have had to called maintenance about ten times.
From the mold in the bathroom to a clogged up bathtub, they have had to "fix" almost everything in my apartment.
When i moved in september of 07 one of the toilet was so dingy that it had to be replaced.
All these stuff should have been taken care of before i moved in but because of the laziness of the maintenance crew, they were not.This place is just an over-price apartment.
one can probably get a better deal somewhere else in hamden.
Another problem that any would-be renter will encounter at aspen glen is the lack of regard for privacy by the maintance crew.
i have told them many times not to come into my apartment unless i am there; they have totally disregarded this by coming into my apartment several times while i am not there.
when i complained to the building manager, she was rude and dismissive.
I predict that in five years, if this *$tch is not fired, she will ruined the community with her rudeness.
TO ANY BODY THINKING ABOUT MOVING INTO ASPEN GLEN, PLEASE BEWARE.
THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU HERE AS THEY CARE MORE ABOUT THE GREENESS OF THE GRASS IN THE COMMUNITY THAN THE PEOPLE LIVING THERE.
I am still living there but i plan to move very soon.
one year in this crappy place is enough for me.
All those with good review of aspen glen have to be from the management office.......
they just have to be.
There is no way they can be former renters.

i live here right now and the maintanence is horrible. The dont clean the snow until after 10am!! even though it snowed the prvious night and stopped by 11pm! going to work at 7am is very tough andthe walkways are cleaned by shovel!! other apts have machines to do this, i know they can affor dit but they r saving money and payin the maintanence crew little money to do it, its cheaper for them that way. renting a asnow shoveling machine would cost them.
otherwise themainatanence is stilll bad they do not respond efficently and i someties have to cal bak 3-4 times!
bad badb abd maintanence, lets see if i get my deposit bak whn i move out this yr
the place is good on the inside but i have had my microwave, dishwasher and cooker changed in the first 6 months i was here!

Are you still living there? I was going to move in their in Bldg 7 (woodbridge type apt) with my daughter and wanted to know if you are familiar with this bldg and if you are aware of any problems in this building. Please let me know. Thanks.
