Do not live here, I had a leaky roof continuosly for two years during which time they repaired it 4 times, each time it was a half assed attempt. My job didn't permit me to move which was the only reason I stayed as long as I did. Just pray that you never have to deal with anyone in the office, b/c they are both useless and rude. When it became clear my roof was irreparable, I refused to pay rent and hired a lawyer to get out of my lease and threaten them with a public health inspection. I did finally get a month's back rent for my troubles and my security deposit back, but it wasn't worth the hassle. The previous manager, Margo was a rude, miserbale human being straight out of hell. I sincerely hope she gets hit by a bus. Thankfully, she is no longer there. Gina is much nicer, and much more helpful but she can't make up for the idiocy of the rest. But beyond my difficulties with leasing personnel and staff, the quality of tenants was also suspect. I broke up a fight between two girls one night, who were pulling each others'hair, wrestling, and scratching each other in the halls. They probably would have killed each other if I hadn't intervened. Also, someone was murdered in the complex while I was a tenant. After the incident nothing was done to enhance security, which was nonexistent anyway. Most of the time the doors were wide open and anyone could walk in and loot the place. Furthermore, the walls are horribly thin, and I routinely heard loud music until 1 or 2 a.m. Also, I am convinced the balconies are a truly unsafe. I lament the unfortunate soul who will undoubtedly be standing on it at the time of its collapse. They are a monument to apathy and disrepair; composed of decaying, brittle wood, clearly unchanged or reinforced since their installation 35 or 40 yrs ago. I honestly think one will just fall off the building one day. The rent does include all utilites which is nice, but, as previous posts mentioned, The heat and air conditioning hardly ever work properly. The construction is brick, which I liked, but the interior walls are slightly more than cardboard (a cheap, shoddy drywall or something). The garbage is in the center of the building and emanates a very unpleasant odor to anyone has the misfortune of being within its proximity. Instead of renting there, you might just want to put a revolver in your mouth and end it all quickly, because at Apple Hill it will be a slow, agonizing process where brainless automatons devour your soul.

Since changing it's name to Broodmore, they posted banners high atop the main building boasting MULTI-MILLION DOLLAR renovations. It such be demolished and rebuilt. I live nearby and have not seen any activity related to enhancing or rebuilding anything. Also the police are always there for one thing or another. The lowlife -------s here give the good people no reason to want to stay in this roach infested ---- hole.
