ok so after reading the reviews on here I generally agree with most of them. my apartment is nice & the kitchen is new but I had to ask specifically for it, and keep asking, and see it myself before I signed my lease...I've seen apartments with horrible old ugly kitchens too, so don't be tricked into taking one of those. the noise is awful. no doubt about that. you'd think the walls & ceilings were made of cardboard. the pool area is a nice touch though. as long as you get there when its not overrun by little kids or loud, poorly behaved teenagers who have vulgar conversations and do backflips into the pool all day, its a nice place to sit & enjoy the sun. & the pool is pretty clean overall. maintenance requests can be tricky...ive had a few answered two days later and a few more take a month. it all depends on how generous the office people are feeling that day I guess'
i like that pretty much everything is included in the rent, and the heat and AC work fine in my apt. the central air is a really nice aspect of these apartments, especially when you think about what you could be dealing with...a window AC. those suck. parking, yes, is bad news. people are always parking in other people's spots, and there are never enough visitor spots.
i havent come across anything that makes me think its a really unsafe place to live...i just take the proper precautions, as everyone should. the doors to the apartments do concern me though, how flimsy they are and how there is only one lock and everyone on staff has a key...that makes me nervous.
the balconies are awesome! they're big, much bigger than any others i see on other apt complexes. you could put a hammock out there no problem. love the balcony.
all the rooms are good sized, the bathroom isn't too tiny, and everything works properly, in my apartment at least. when i had an issue with my bathroom sink leaking, they fixed it within 24 hrs, which i appreciated.
the maintenance guys seem really nice for the most part.
the people in the office can be very nice or very rude. it all depends on when you catch them.
overall, yeah, it has its negative points, but you just have to weigh the pros and cons and see if its worth it. as apartments go, you could do worse. its certainly not the most horrible place out there, but they're not going to go out of their way to make you happy either. it is what it is.

In reference to the comment about the door to the apartment, I bought a $100 security bar that secures the door and makes it impossible to get in. Still, they should have thought about that. I get nervous all the time that someone will break in no problem.
