I lived in Hamden Center for a year, and it was pretty good. The apartment was nice and big, and I never had any problems with the area. It was kind of noisy at times. A family with lots of kids lived above us and they were loud. The staff was nice, but difficult to get a hold of if you needed them. Overall, it was a decent place to live.
