I?ve lived at Hamden Ridge for 2 years. The apartments are a bit expensive but pretty well worth it. The complex is in a nice neighborhood and close to all shopping centers on Dixwell Ave...very convenient. I have a one bedroom apartment that I share with a roommate and have never had a problem here. The place is spacious with new appliances, paint, and beautiful hardwood floors (and generously sized balconies!). Very clean and well maintained. I would definitely say that this place is quite abit nicer than many places I?ve seen. I have just graduated from college and am searching for a larger apartment and I can certainly say that most places I have visited are not nearly as spacious, open, or clean as this place. Hamden Ridge is a quiet and well kept community perfect for college students and young professionals. Though not opposed to leasing to students, the office workers are certainly selective when it comes to tenants so as not to have rowdy or disruptive tenants. My experience here as been great and I have been very happy here though it is time to move on for me! I would definitely recommend Hamden Ridge to others seeking a moderately priced, convenient, clean apartment community.
