Seramonte is a beautiful area to live in. The price is right for the area (south-western CT) and the apartments are nicely maintained. Security is not an issue (high metal pointy fences with barbed-wire on top of a couple of them). The gates may be left open, but that problem IS being worked on as I write this, trust me. My wife and I have had only had one problem with maintenance, and that had to do with taking a while to get back to us about our faulty dryer (when they did show up here, though, they brought in and installed a brand new washer/dryer unit in our apartment for us, and it works beautifully). Outside of taking a while to get back to us, maintenance has been good to us. Parking WAS an issue, but not anymore because they put in assigned parking on Tuesday 11/19/02. We also have a see-through fireplace which is beautiful and our 2 cats love it here, too. Big, lit walk-in closets are also a plus. They also have home-security alarms which can be activated (for a small fee in some apartments) by choice of the tenant. They are also putting a recreation center in here soon! Lastly, the complex is also easily accesible to many nearby shopping centers, Rte. 15, I-91, and I-95. This is a very nice place to live in overall in my opinion!
