Not so bad

I've read some of the comments and have been surprised by some of them. Maintenance has been pretty good (sometimes they are slow, but sometimes they fix things within hours), and I was impressed by them going out early on snowy days to clear the snow. Management is pretty slow, however, and can be a bit uncompromising on their too-strict rules. They also easily lie. They said the broken security gates are just waiting for parts when it is clear they have been broken for years and will never be fixed--they still list these as a plus on their website. They also still mention on their website that they will build a fitness center, but they admitted that will not be realized.
We live in a townhouse and it's not too bad. The walls in the basement are paper thin, but the other walls are not bad. The kitchen is far too small (not enough cabinet space) and the heat somewhat screwy (though we're never cold). The hot water heater is weak, however, and soon runs out (no two hot showers in a row).
I cannot speak for the apartments, but the townhouses are not bad. I can recommend them but do suggest you look at them closely and if you need changes, get them in writing.
