Honest opinion

As I am searching the web to find a new place to live after graduating I'm using this website as a resource to gauge my new home, and I realize that the majority of people who respond are very disgruntled. After reading the responses to Seramonte, I didn't experience what some other people wrote. So here's my honest opinion. (lived there for 1yr, then moved to new haven as rent was cheaper)
Pros: Close to Quinnipiac U., I lived in the complexes near the main office-parking was not too bad,my roommate & I worked out a system-whoever got home 1st parked in the unmarked spaces-so parking wasn't bad-park&get home before 7pm & weekends theres plenty of open spaces, management was very prompt & helpful, maintenance guys were great-friendly & very helpful(I also live 2 apts down from their office, so I saw them every day), price was 0.K-Hamden apts are pricey so seramonte is avg., right behind shopping center, felt safe.
CONS-Not the best deal$$,older apt so you can hear muffled sounds above you and walking above, only 1 bathrm, pool facilities are o.k.- lived on 1st floor so we had no private pation area.Living rm & dining table combined area. O.K sq ft.
Living on the East Coast and Hamden sucks, you should look into New Haven if possible-cheaper rent & more stuff to do.
Recommendation: make friends w/the maintenance guys, get a 2nd story, live near the office where there is more parking. Good luck
