Seramonte looks great from the website and when you first visit. Before you sign your lease they promise anything-new appliances, new fixtures, etc. But once you have signed the lease-forget it "the person who showed you the apartment didnt have the authority to do that" is what I was told. Free heat'' You cant control it! The neighbors are noisy, disrespectful, and downright creepy. You can be guaranteed to hear every footstep anyone takes. If you live next to an apartment with a child good luck! You'll hear that kid in your sleep. The obnoxious residents let their horribly behaved children play in the parking lots, stairs-and of course this is not permitted according to the lease. The kids scream all day, hit your car with toys, swear at you (and I dont mind kids). The horrific odor of curry literally creeps into your apartment on a daily basis-it smells so awful its embarassing to have company. The overall construction of the apartment is very poor-thin walls that have been painted too many times and poorly. They just paint over leaks, appliances are ancient, the laundry room is huge but only has two washers and two dryers which havent worked in months. College kids are the least of the problems there-its the other residents and the maintainance workers that will drive you insane. The workers park in your assigned spots, play loud music while they work, keep their walkie talkies up so loud if you understand Spanish you could probably know all of Seramonte's business. The office staff are a bit cold-they put on a great show before your lease is signed. Snow removal is a joke-they plow the parking lots but they make sure your car is stuck in its spot and they dont shovel anyway for you to get from the lot to the walkways. Ive almost killed myself trying to bring in groceries when there is snow on the ground. And EVERY morning there is someone digging through the dumpsters. Seramonte needs to deal with their workers noise, loud and smelly tenants, tenants who think other residents like the sound of their cars bass and revving engines, keep the laundry facilites in clean and working conditions, MAYBE one of them should have to live there and someone should be walking through the hallways to take a whiff of what we have to live with.

Best response ever. The snow removal is a total joke. Especially when you DO have a child you have to carry through it.
